Rainbow Honey: The Kraken & Summer Blossom

Good morning, all!  I was recently sent a batch of awesome Rainbow Honey polishes to swatch for you, all. Two of them are their most top selling glitters from this recent year.  Lets take a look at the beauties!

First up is Rainbow Honey The Kraken.  This was released for The Summer of 199X collection.  Definitely a fan favorite based off of my social media sites.  Its a medium marine blue base with blue and greenish-gold hexes along with some light catching shimmers.  The base is this is such a unique color.  Marine is a nice description since its not quite a blue, but more blueish green.  I used two coats here and for a glitter packed polish, this applied really nice.  My second coat was a bit thicker, but still at a nice workable opacity.

Next up for today is Rainbow Honey Summer Blossom.  Summer Blossom was the limited edition polish from July.  This is such a fun polish for summer.  This is a clear base with a mix of iridescent and holographic glitters.  The most unique part of this polish is the flower shaped glitters in white, orange and yellow.  I layered this over Zoya Chantal and the colors just meshed well together.  Formula was nice and smooth with this as well and I was able to get those flower glitters without fishing.  Love that!

I can definitely see why these were such great sellers for Rainbow Honey.  Their mixes of glitters in such particular bases is what really sets them apart as a great indie brand. You can still purchase these from Rainbow Honey's Website.  Also, use the coupon code ILOVENAILBLOGS to get $5 off of your next order from Rainbow Honey.  This coupon code will expire March 31st.
